Seeking A Medical Billing and Coding Specialist with Dermatology/Plastic Surgery and 4+ years of experience. 

The ideal candidate will be tech savvy and will have previously worked in a remote position, as this is a remote opportunity. 



Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Reading and analyzing patient records


• Determining the correct codes for patient records


• Using codes to bill insurance providers


• Interacting with physicians and assistants to ensure accuracy


• Keeping track of patient data over multiple visits


• Managing detailed, specifically-coded information


• Maintaining patient confidentiality and information security


• Review patient information and translate services into correct codes


• Input medical data entry into patient account systems


• Understand the universal code classifications such as ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology)


• Communicate with insurance providers and medical staff
