This is a full-time position: M-F, 8:30AM-5:00PM CST.

We are in the home healthcare industry. We are seeking 1 FT staff member. Position is at company HQ. Office duties only, no field visits.


Responsibilities:

  • Review & submit claims in a timely manner.
  • Process billing & claims to third party insurance companies.
  • Maintain client demographic information and data collection systems.
  • Ensure claims payment from third party insurance companies have been adjudicated through routine review.
  • Track and report status of delinquent claims payments to Supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve client billing issues with HHAeXChange, MNeConnect, MN-ITS, and other clearinghouse databases.
  • Verify client eligibility for services through third party insurance company databases.
  • Monitor submitted claims; follow-up on unpaid claims, and coordinate with Supervisor to initiate dialogue with third party insurance companies, as necessary.
  • Resubmit claims to third party insurance companies, as necessary.
  • Work in conjunction with Supervisor to ensure clean, error-free claims are submitted.
  • Perform a variety of general clerical duties and other routine function, as assigned by Director or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in computers and relevant software applications and technology.
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Good communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Bi-lingual preferred, but not required: Hmong, Spanish, Ukrainian, Pashto, Dari, Arabic, Swahili, Somali, Amharic, Karen, Cambodian, Vietnamese, French, Russian.

Benefits

  • Compensation starts at $16+/hr., based on experience.
