As an experienced mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Your role will involve overseeing projects from conception to completion, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities may include:

Designing and developing mechanical systems and components, including detailed drawings and specifications

Conducting research and analysis to support design decisions and optimize performance.

Managing projects and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Conducting testing and evaluation of prototypes or finished products to ensure quality and performance.

Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.

Participating in product design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mechanical engineering.

Overall, as an experienced mechanical engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing mechanical systems and components, managing projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed successfully. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the success of the organization and help to drive innovation and growth.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment.
Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes that focus on CNC milling & turning
Extensive knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming
Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field required
Five years of experience as a mechanical engineer required (10+preferred)

Salary: $56,827.00 - $96,719.00 per year
