Our partner is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Mechanic in Alvin, TX. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring operations comply with the companys HSE policies and governing agencies, performing various duties related to machinery and mechanical equipment, and adhering to company policies regarding bids, pricing agreements, and procurement of materials and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Verify dimensions, specifications, and tolerances using blueprints and manuals
  • Recognize potential hazards to operations and protect both human beings and equipment
  • Prepare and report accurately and promptly on daily operations, daily costs, related material, transfers, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of experience working as a Mechanic, preferably in an oil field environment
  • Constant operation, viewing a computer screen and other office machinery, and oral communication over the phone, in video, and in person
  • Physical stamina and flexibility, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and carrying instruments weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions and consistently using personal protective equipment
