New Construction Portfolio Market Engagement: Buildings of Excellence, Carbon Neutral Community Economic Development, and other initiatives

Client's New Construction Team is seeking an individual to help organize and conduct market engagement tasks that focus on high performance new construction projects, gut renovations, and retrofits. This position will work closely with NYSERDA staff as well as key market actors including channel partners such as industry associations and non-profits. Market engagement efforts within this team aim to dispel existing barriers to carbon neutral projects (cost, performance, lack of knowledge of available solutions) and help create scale and replicability for future projects.

Experience: 3-6 years

With minimal guidance, resource should be able to start engagement with these skills:

Technical Content Development and Editing
Graphic Asset Preparation
Market Research
Strong written and oral communication skills with customers, contractors, and internal staff; and 5. Impact Metrics Tracking.
The successful candidate will also need to be extremely motivated and have exceptional organizational skills

Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree

Bachelor's degree minimum, advanced degree preferred
