The Manufacturing Technician collaborates directly with the department coordinator/manager/process engineer to support the production team. Under limited supervision, provide technical support for the department. Prioritize, troubleshoot issues and work with engineering to resolve them.

What youll do:

• Ensure machines, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with team coordinator and department manager to plan for Machine/Equipment PM and Calibration.
• Maintain and monitor Conformal Coat Control Chart and PM checklist
• Displays an acceptable-level critical thinking and analysis to help Engineer identify root cause of the problem while supporting production.
• Perform machine setup and Preventative Maintenance (PM) according to documented schedule/procedure.
• Maintain a clean and highly organized area and participate in 5S activities and projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projects assigned by department Manager.
• Understand and adhere to all Vanguards policies, process, and workplace guidelines.
• Day-to-day technical support for Conformal Coat
• Auto Spray/Manual Spray Technical Support and Programing

OTHER DUTIES

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solder processes any
• Machine operation or set up experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude/experience

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

High level of proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel Office, and Outlook

English (reading, writing, and verbal)
