The Manager i-Gaming Risk and Payments is responsible for the delivery of insights, analytical approaches and tools, and reporting on risk and payments for the iGaming department. The role is responsible for overseeing all functions of the daily payment processing of all patron transactions to prevent fraudulent activity.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in both risk and payment business processes and the data that is recorded as part of the process
  • Oversee payment processing guidelines for both deposits and withdrawals
  • Ensures regulatory and company standards are being met, including payment processing time and documentation review
  • Proactive monitoring of withdrawal returns and ensuring that funds are properly credited to customer accounts
  • Investigates payment anomalies and errors and adjusts players accounts when required
  • Identifies and tracks chargebacks, attempting to work with players to resolve chargebacks and applies restrictions to players accounts when needed
  • Compiles evidence and proof-of-purchase to dispute chargebacks and attempt to recover funds
  • Reports weekly chargeback statistics to management
  • Monitors and tracks jackpot wins greater than $50k; performs New Jersey Child Support checks on jackpot winners; and reports the jackpots to DGE
  • Assists the customer support team on heightened/complex cases related to Risk/Payments and KYC (Know Your Customer) checks
  • Proactively work with the IGM and BSA department on researching information to identify new fraud/suspicious activity trends and implement processes to reduce risk
  • Design and build reports to enable ongoing transparency and tracking of key operational and management KPIs
  • Operate the daily payment reconciliation process that will reconcile at a transactional level
  • Provide daily transactional data reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second- hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
  • Repetitive finger and wrist motion (key board data entry) as well as prolonged viewing of data on a computer monitor.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business or technology field preferred
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of risk experience, preferable in casino and/or online gaming
  • Must have knowledge of Internal Controls and NJ State Regulations
  • Highly analytical with excellent report writing skills
  • Knowledgeable in online gaming products and how customers interact with said products
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel and all Office products
  • A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration throughout department and organization
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with customers and team members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Able to work holidays/weekends
