What You'll Do On a Typical Day
  • Responsible for managing the planning, delivery, and overall quality of HR Technology operations
  • Manages talent through coaching and providing feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness.
  • Identifies and facilitates opportunities to standardize systems and processes for cross-functional services.
  • Provides recommendations to leadership to improve support and introduce new technologies in a cost-effective way to meet future needs
  • Manage HR technology Analysts and Senior Analysts
  • Collaborate with HR staff to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing Processes and systems; recommend and implement solutions
  • Lead medium to large enhancements and projects, assigning tasks and deadlines to other team members as required
  • Facilitate effective meetings, keep stakeholders informed, set, and maintain project scope and timelines, mitigate risks, partner with others to resolve technical issues, ensure deliverables are met by managing day to day work, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Lead analysts in managing and resolving issues
  • Configure system changes and enhancements for enhancements and projects of medium to high complexity
  • Present demos and Proof of Concepts of new designs and functionality to the business and IT partners.
  • Sets up and completes monthly and quarterly HR Technology metrics and accompanying data analysis.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of GXO Logistics quality policy (DOC1490) and environmental policy (DOC9855
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment; adheres to and enforces safe work practices and safety policie
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objective
  • Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the proces
  • Communicates well with leadership, team members and other departments

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or equivalent related work
  • 10 years working with HR related technologies as a technical / functional expert with a clear functional understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience in Recruiting and Onboarding required.
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience in Employee Central and Compensation Planning preferred
  • Experience with or a conceptual understanding of new software and technologies, including those related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Virtual Reality (VR) and Machine Learning preferred

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Global systems experience preferred
  • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to build relationships and gain trust quickly
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and principles.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills
