This is a PROACTIVE requisition Required Skills Job Description Seeking a professional Mainframe Developer with Assembly/COBOL and Java development experience. The successful Mainframe Developer's Responsibilities for this position include: Conduct building block analysis by analyzing IMF code and existing documentation Code CSECT analysis to partition code into building blocks and create Call Graph diagrams Conduct scenario decomposition analysis, including associating business scenarios with IMF building blocks Provide knowledge transfer and integration support to designers and developers for ITPE Key Skills Required: Strong Java development experience Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Strong Analytical Skills Assembler Language Programming Skills is required IRS Domain Knowledge Ability to learn a complex financial system and understand the "business" behind the Code Able to create flow diagrams (e.g. in Visio), learn Mainframe technologies, and do technical writing to produce documentation Experience with requirement analysis and Documentation Mainframe Development Experience Experienced and able to work with workflow management tools and Rational Tools Suite such as Rational CLM, JIRA, etc. IMF Domain Knowledge
