HireDirect is interviewing Mechanical Technicians to join a stable, growing company with a positive work environment in Reidsville, NC. These positions are Direct Hire with opportunity for growth, overtime and positive safe work environment. The ideal candidates for this position must have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance understanding.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00 - 20.00

Work Hours : 6 days with one off day weekly, that is scheduled in advance.

2nd shift

• 3:25pm-12:00am
• 3:55pm-12:30am

Associates in this position work a rotating schedule. The schedule is working 6 days with one day off weekly, that is scheduled in advance. Every 6 weeks the associate gets both Saturday and Sunday off.

Example:

• Week 1 Off Monday
• Week 2 Off Tuesday
• Week 3 Off Wednesday
• Week 4 Off Thursday
• Week 5 Off Friday
• Week 6 Off Saturday & Sunday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Observes and receives training instruction, and guidance on various operations and processes.
• Adheres to existing working practices, methods, procedures, and undertakes relevant training and development activities.
• Preforms general labor work as assigned. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Assists with installation and modification of equipment, under supervision.
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of equipment to include: Ovens, Grinders, Mixers, Conveyors and more.
• Preforms housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.

Physical Demands/Work Environment-

• Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
• Must be highly safety cautious and able to work in a cold environment.
• Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50lbs.
• Withstand environment temperature changes throughout the facility.
• Combination of office and plant environment.
• Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
• May be required to use safety glasses while preforming specific tasks.
