Shifts: 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am) 

Days: Monday through Friday (Overtime available) 

Pay: DOE (Depending On Experience) 

Moonrise is currently seeking energetic and growth-oriented Machine Operators/Forklift Operators courtesy of one of our established clients local to the Aurora market area. This role is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a supportive team who is dedicated to safety and individual growth. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment operating equipment.  

Responsibilities:  

• Interpret and read shop orders 


• Detect defects and adjust machinery, as necessary  


• Place paper and cardboard on machine tracks, and thread paper through rollers 


• Optimize equipment to maximize the utilization by operating the machinery at required capacity and speed safely  


• Consistent product/equipment inspection to ensure quality and safety 


• Create accurate production reports in a timely fashion  


• Responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs 

Qualifications:  

• Thirst for knowledge to learn all roles required to operate manufacturing equipment/machines 


• Must be willing/able to work overtime, as requested 


• Must have the ability to read & use a non-metric measuring tape (You will be tested) 


• Must have strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplications, and division) 


• Must be willing/able to lift 50+ Ibs consistently throughout a shift 


• Must be willing to stand, lift, push, bend, and walk throughout the duration of a shift 


• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals 

Requirements: 

• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment operating equipment REQUIRED 


• Experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment is a PLUS 


• Background Check/Drug Screen/Physical/Mathematical & Metric testing REQUIRED 


• Professional References REQUIRED
