Responsibilities: Own full life-cycle data science and machine learning model creation and deployment. Work closely with stakeholders to identify impactful problems and build algorithmic solutions. Recommend how we set merchandise-based prices, discounts, seasonal markdowns, and clearance events. Develop recommendations for how we distribute inventory across channels and client. Develop inventory allocation systems, and leverage causal inference, statistical modeling and experimentation to develop inventory policies that drive a combination of client and financial metrics. Engage in data stewardship, ensuring that raw inputs, intermediate results, and finished data products are accessible and useful in perpetuity. Holistically understand ambiguous business problems and frame appropriate work streams. Identify, research, advise, and implement approaches to new and old problems. May lead or supervise junior team members. May telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as a Senior Lead Data Scientist or a related occupation.

Rate of Pay: $262,000 - $306,000 / year
