Master Data Scientist Tampa, FL Long Term Primary Objective: - The individual, in this role, is expected to be comfortable working as a data Science expert and a quantitative researcher.
- The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the study of business problems relevant to healthcare domain, and a passion for identifying and answering questions that help us solve the complex business problems
Job Responsibilities - 10-15 Years of experience in advanced analytics, on hands experience in predictive modeling, Recommendation Engine, Optimization, handling unstructured data etc.
- 10 years of hands-on experience on R, Python, AWS Sagemaker and other statistical tools
- Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools
- Solid understanding of programming logic and various paradigms
- Answer business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data
- Communicate findings to both business and technical audiences
- Drive the identification of required data and the refinement of existing data
- Analyze and interpret the results of analytical experiments
- Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate those to solution delivery teams
- Experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling such as Time Series forecasting, Optimization, Regression etc.
- Ability to mine unstructured data, including Text Mining using statistical tools
- Ability to integrate unstructured data analytics with structured data to build predictive models
- Ability to understand and analyze data models how the data is stored in relational databases
- Ability to understand system integration aspects of integrating model input and output in transactional systems to help real time decision making
- Good understanding software application architecture and develop integration approaches for predictive models
- Serves as an escalation point for escalated statistical model related issues.

Technical Knowledge and Skills required - Strong knowledge on R, Python, AWS Sagemaker & other statistical tools
- Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and Power point
Soft Skills Required - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and where applicable, manage key external stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives
- Articulate with good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor Jr. Data scientists
- Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful & ability to multitask.
- Adherence to timelines, without sacrificing quality of output.
- Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong ability to co-ordinate across different Geographies.
Education M.S. in Statistics/ Econometrics / Analytics or Engineering degree along with MBA in Business Analytics/Decision Sciences
