We are seeking a Legal Assistant to for an immediate full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This position is located in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:

Read, understand, and apply legal regulations to prepare official documents
Manage intellectual property matters and attorney dockets
Interact with clients
Prepare and manage correspondence to clients, international attorneys, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Serve as victim advocate offering crisis intervention, emotional support, resources, and referrals, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Requirements:

Must have 1 to 10 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
Must have experience reading, understanding, and applying legal regulations to prepare official documents
Must have excellent organizational, communication, and follow up skills
Must have the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities while paying a high attention to detail and working independently
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office with accurate data entry skills
