Title: LVN / LPN

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Administrative Nurse Manager or Practice Manager and guided by the procedures of Ambulatory Services, the Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the ambulatory setting. The LVN will play a critical role in the patient experience including optimizing clinic flow, providing in and outreach to patients and working collaboratively with the team to create a patient centered environment.
In collaboration with providers, the LVN has the clinical responsibility for developing and maintaining a high standard of patient care. S/he is responsible for daily clinical operations and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff. All components of nursing care will be individualized to meet the patient's physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental level and needs.
The LVN consistently projects a professional and courteous demeanor, helps establish and maintain the highest service standards for the practice and complies with the Medical Center House and Telephone Standards.
Required Qualifications
Three years LVN experience
Two years related experience in an outpatient specialty practice with complex procedures or similar environment
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California
Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
Experience working in a patient centric and/or private practice clinical setting
Experience administering IM injections
Possession of skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while providing the highest quality of customer service
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems
Licensure /Certification
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California
Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
