Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Junior Data Scientist at Starnet.AI, you will work closely with our Data Platform/Analytics teams to contribute to the deployment of data solutions leveraging modern technologies on Google Cloud. Your role will involve assisting in the management of ETL Pipelines, Data Architecture, and projects related to Digital Marketing data.
You will have the chance to tackle challenges proactively, collaborate with IT teams to enhance the quality and value of our clients' data, and align with their data strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support in performing technical assessments of our clients' current enterprise data state and contribute to the architectural transformation into a modern data-powered enterprise.
Contribute to the creation of technical, security, data, and operational architecture and design blueprints incorporating modern data technologies and cloud data services, showcasing the value of modernization.
Assist in the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of technical solutions across a range of development tools and technologies.
Participate in the design, building, and operationalization of large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using GCP data and analytics services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow/Apache Beam, Cloud Data Fusion, Composer/Airflow, Big Table, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud storage, Cloud Functions, and GitHub.
Contribute to the design and implementation of production data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, utilizing Cloud Native solutions and languages such as Java, Python, Scala, or Golang.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform technologies or relevant cloud certifications would be advantageous.
Familiarity with Python and foundational Machine Learning toolsets (e.g., Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas) and database management (SQL and noSQL).
Candidates with less experience will be considered for this role.
A solid understanding of technical aspects related to data and database systems.
Basic knowledge of development languages, tools, frameworks, utilities, and technical dependencies.
Experience or exposure to container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus.
