POSITION OVERVIEW

The Junior Accountant will be a key part of our growing Finance team. They will work to close the books in a timely and compliant manner, record financial activity in the companys General Ledger and other systems, and handle critical accounting tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record transactions in Quickbooks Online
• Manage accounts payable invoice coding and vendor enrollments
• Manage accounts receivable collections, dunning and invoicing
• Perform credit checks on company clients and suppliers
• Update monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle expense data entry into Obviouslys backend system
• Prepare and book month close journal entries
• Assist with timely reporting of monthly results to Obviouslys corporate parent

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors Degree, Accounting preferred. Other majors or Associates degrees considered with related work experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years experience in a corporate finance department or public accounting. Public company experience is a plus.
• Software: Quickbooks Online experience preferred, Microsoft Excel skills required.
