Junior Accountant

Hallmark Facility Services Inc. is seeking to hire a Junior Accountant to manage the company’s finances. This includes processing accounts receivable and payables, payroll, expense disbursements, and developing or supporting financial reporting and budgets.

These are the responsibilities of the position:

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures and internal control
• Prepare financial statements
• Manage a full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
• Prepare income tax returns
• Provide financial, business and tax advice
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Payroll preparation


Skills and Experience:
• Relevant experience would be considered an asset
• Degree or diploma in accounting or a related field.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
