Verana Health, Inc. seeks Jr. Data Engineer (P2) in San Francisco, CA for development and implementation of automated data pipelines to enable Identity Service(IDS) pipeline; Application(VQM) pipeline, Salesforce pipeline and all BI dashboard pipelines utilizing Pyspark, Apache Airflow on AWS/Databricks; Operational support involving adding new features, Performance tuning of data pipelines; Technical design and solutions for solving problems related to data curation of highly variable data structures in a highly concurrent cloud environment. Performing proof of concepts to adopt latest tools, technologies and frameworks towards enhancement of data platform; Collaboration with cross functional teams to integrate solutions.

Salary: $91,928 - $143,325/year. The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, above or below, depending on experience and location.

Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related data engineering or data analytics fields.
Requires 1 year of experience with the following skills: Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines; Experience in performing data analysis and supporting business intelligent tool/project; Data governance experience with advanced working SQL knowledge for data wrangling and analysis; Experience working in different types of databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Redshift, and familiarity with different SQL dialects; Experience in object oriented programming such as Python, Java; Experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on AWS, including services like S3, Athena, EC2/EMR, Glue, SQS/SNS, and more; and Experience in automation tools, such as Airflow, SSIS.
