Description
A fast-paced, successful organization in the Insurance industry is seeking a motivated and organized Jr. Administrative Assistant join their team for an immediate opening via OfficeTeam. Ongoing operations and important administrative tasks support will be the primary responsibilities of the Receptionist. This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Los Angeles, California area.
Responsibilities
- Arranging schedules and activities
- Directing telephone calls and managing a multi line phone system
- Figuring spreadsheets, advancing presentations, and encouraging special projects
- Data entry, filing, word processing, scanning, and faxing
- Analyzing and fact-checking documents
- Admitting and leading visitors
- Endorse diverse projects for other employees when necessary
- Sorting through orders for supplies and services, and tracking progress and results
- Maintaining the calendar and arranging meetings and conferences
Requirements
- Outstanding data entry skills
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of administrative support experience
- Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience
- Alphanumeric data entry experience preferred
- Filing experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
