They are looking for someone to not actually do the hands-on work with salesforce, but drive the process end to end coordinating with their 3 implementation vendors.

It is higher level with coordinating with the vendors, instead of hands-on testing.

summary: This position is responsible for coordinating across multiple testing workstreams in designing testing procedures, developing, and documenting test cases and building manual/ automation test scripts to test, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications.

Create and maintain overall end to end test plan and oversee execution throughout SDLC while accounting for automation, performance and scalability.

Ensure all activities comply with testing best practices and adheres to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Work closely with onsite/offshore team members across different teams to manage/resolve issues and make sure that the product satisfies the user requirements and works as desired within the defined timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the delivery of quality assurance services through adherence to established SDLC standards and process methodology. Work with several quality assurance teams and facilitate overall system testing efforts
• Responsible for all testing phases of SDLC including component testing, SIT, UAT and go live support through regression testing, performance testing, advanced aspects of system testing. Coordinate across several business teams as part of UAT support and ensure the execution is streamlined. Support deployment planning and lead post deployment testing. Provide post release hyper care support.
• Participate in meetings with the business analysts and development teams. Analyze Requirements and Design documentation; understand business/functional requirements and constraints, identify potential risks to quality, identify ambiguities or omissions, and ensure testability.
• Prepare test execution estimates and plan test execution schedules. Identify and report testing related risks and plan for mitigation activities
• Work effectively with onsite/ offshore testing teams to ensure detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases are delivered. Deliver overall test plan and testing strategy for planned phases and testing cycles
• Manage bug tracking and coordinate the work with development/design teams to help isolate, debug and resolve bugs. Lead defect review/ triage calls in all testing phases and collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Work with test engineers and identify opportunities to scale up test automation to reduce manual testing efforts
• Deliver quality metrics and communicate to management/ business stakeholders on testing status. Work with project management to keep track of testing deliverables and ensure milestones are met
• Instill best practices for software testing and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on planned schedules Qualification/Requirements
• Experience with Agile development methodology, continuous integration and tools like JIRA, Confluence used to achieve the same.
• Expertise in testing concepts, test plan/ strategy and validation techniques. Working knowledge of testing execution and bug tracking tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while operating effectively in a collaborative environment
• Expertise in leading testing teams on large scale enterprise projects which includes integration testing and functional/ usability testing across different platforms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, risk mitigation skills
• Experience communicating with business/stakeholders, users, other technical teams, and management to provide testing related updates
• Experience with quality metrics and clear status reporting on several testing workstreams on projects/initiatives

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience is required
