Role:Java Cloud Engineer

Location: Cary, NC or Remote

Duration: 6+ months

Visa: No Visa constraints

Description:

Languages: primary JAVA, secondary JavaScript, XML (& derivatives), SQL (PL/SQL or similar), Shell (K or C or similar), Python/Perl (nice to have)

Frameworks: Spring, React, Angular

Cloud Tooling: Amazon S3,

Tooling: Redis, MQ, some EIB

Dev Tools: Git, Subversion or similar, Jenkins or similar

DB: Mongo or Azure Cosmos or similar, Oracle,

Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS

Experience:

• creating cloud based or SAAS applications to support messaging or event processing using API's, specifically having solved sequencing, race conditions, performance bottlenecks when doing integration across systems using API's.
• cloud platform tools setup, sizing and scaling Azure or AWS experience utilizing variety of services (DB, App, Queue, Monitoring, EIB, KeyVault, etc).
• CI/CD & devops/devsecops tooling and setup experience specifically for Azure or AWS
• Agile specifically in breaking down features into vertical slices, and developing features while creating automated test cases/frameworks to support agile development.
• Security API security
