QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer System Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, or foreign equivalent;
- 3 years of experience as an IT Manager or IT Head in Logistics sector leading multidisciplinary teams;
- 2 years of experience with and deep understanding of multi-country Distribution/Transportation in Logistics sector, their processes and IT platforms to support them;
- 2 years of experience with and deep understanding of imports/exports regulations: Tax Administration Service (SAT) and Customs. Experience implementing IT solutions to ensure to comply with those regulations and creating Business To Business (B2B) solutions;
- 3 years of experience in Project Management developing strategies and implementing controls and new technologies focused on increasing productivity, Digitization, Process Automation, and Resources Optimization using best standards practices: PMI, PMBOK or Agile Methodology;
- 2 years of experience with and knowledge in implementing and maintaining core systems focused on Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and Customer Relationship;
- 2 years of experience implementing strategies/controls to maintain compliance levels in accordance with local policies and global standards;
- 2 years of experience developing and implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) focused to Critical Processes and Disaster Recovery Plans for Information Technology Environments;
- 2 years of experience with implementing databases and maintenance as well as knowledge of performance strategies, backups and recovery, high availability environments and advanced SQL;
- 2 years of experience with implementing Business Intelligence Solutions, deep understanding of ELT/ETL Tools and Data Warehousing;
- 2 years of experience with and knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux/Windows), Virtual Environments, Storage, Active Directory and Networking; and
- 2 years of experience leading technical support teams and knowledge in IT Assets Control tools.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Supporting and managing IT proprietary operational platforms and related projects, including interphases (B2B solutions) with government authorities;
- Conferring with project personnel to identify and resolve problems through data analysis and developing implementation plans. Strategic project planning, creating schedules, resolving conflicts and negotiating, and resources management (staff and budget);
- Creating the necessary IT systems to automate the visibility of the goods transported between the different countries, as well as integrating the customs legislation from each country, providing customers with the necessary digital information to complete import and export processes simplifying customs requirements and supporting the Operations needs in each facility, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope;
- Developing and implementing IT policy and Cybersecurity controls using the best practice guides ISO 27K;
- Maintenance of the Business Intelligence platform and ELT/ETL tools, creation of new metrics and KPIs;
- Ensuring security of data, network access and backup systems. Maintenance of Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan;
- Monitoring the system and conducting regular system audits (domestic and international);
- Creating databases, maintenance, and performance tuning. Monitoring and creation of reports using advanced SQL. Implementing of backups and recovery strategies;
- Serving as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects by implementing specific operating models (using hardware and software solutions) based on assessments of specific clients’ needs, and providing international customers with solutions for complex operations;
- Implementing and managing of servers, storage devices, handhelds, network devices and CCTV;
- End user support (hardware and software), Help desk;
- Process mapping, analysis, and design of possible IT solutions; and
- Responsible for maintaining the corporate relationship with customers, IT vendors, IT consultants, and inventory control (hardware and software).
