Security is a complex, fast moving, and essential function in any modern organization. Our utmost priority is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our work for our clients. In your time as an intern with us, you will have an opportunity to work with team members across different domains of Information Security, including Operations and Incident Response, Architecture & Engineering, and Governance, Risk, & Compliance.







WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM




We are seeking a Cybersecurity Communications Intern to work with our cybersecurity team, refining and standardizing our communications and developing a strong brand for our team that aligns with our business objectives.We look forward to working with the successful candidate to help deliver a better, more consistent understanding of what Information Security is, its role and value for the organization, and how effectively we are being protected by Information Security efforts. This role will also require working with other areas of the business to understand their needs and address communications appropriately. Additionally, this position will assist with smaller efforts as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO




Refine and standardize our communications to ensure consistency across all channels

Develop and execute communication strategies that align with our business objectives

Create and share content across communication platforms

Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to create compelling presentations and reports

Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of our communication strategies

Manage the cybersecurity team's brand and ensure it aligns with our company's overall brand









ABOUT YOU





Become a key member of the Information Security team by developing an in-depth knowledge of our systems and practices. Comprehensive training will be provided!

Ability to work in collaborative, team-oriented environment

Desire to learn (our most successful co-ops are hungry to learn new skills and concepts!)

Strong customer service, analytic abilities, and communications (oral and written)

Passion for developing and executing communication content and brand strategies

Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology is a plus
