Job description for TM1 Business Analyst
Responsibilities
o Overall 7+ years of experience with at least 5 years on TM1
o Responsible for analysing requirements, constructing Finance-flowcharts and
diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications.
o Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and
elements.
o Design a solution that considers the requirements and constraints identified
during analysis activity.
o Designing Reports on On-Prem and Cloud Consolidation and Reporting
applications as per requirements.
o Preparation of detailed test plan with business level test scenarios as a Test
Lead.
o Responsible for reviewing the project plan and outcomes with team members,
Management, Stake Holders.
o Help transform user requirements into user stories.
o Bridge gap between Business, Technical folks and help transform Functional
requirements into Technical.
o Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and
trends.
o Perform Quality Assurance and help design, document and maintain system
processes.
o Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make
recommendations to technical team.
o Communicate key insights and findings to product team.
o Prepare SOW and other business documents.
o Constantly be on the lookout for ways to discover issues, improve monitoring
and deliver better value to the customer.
o Manage team to get the functionalities implemented on time.
o Involvement of the stakeholders throughout the entire life-cycle of the project
o Exp working with EPM skills is nice to have preferably on TM1 & Hyperion
o Exp in Agile methodology is nice to have.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
o MBA/ CA/ CPA
o Hands-on experience in the implementation and support of EPM applications
as techno functional consultant.
o Well-versed with the fundamentals of data management and data governance.
o Experience on TM1 is must to have

o Excellent at analyzing and organizing information.
o Having the potential of being either a leader or a follower as the situation
requires.
o Be able to work independently or with a group of people as the situation
requires.
o Must be Self-motivated and assertive, but with a pleasant personality.
o Should be able to determine operational objectives by studying business
functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.
o Should have functional and technical knowledge and experience reviewing
professional publications.
o Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
o Should have knowledge in generating process documentation.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing
