Role: Sr Hyper-V Specialist with migration experience

Location: Remote in Portland OR uptil December.

Duration: 6-12 mos. +

Mandatory:

• 7+ years IT experience with server admin and engineering


• 4+ years’ experience working with Hyper-V and VMware (installing, configuring, troubleshooting)


• Direct experience migrating from VMware vm to Hyper-V vm, exporting and backing up VMS


• Strong with SCVMM and SCCM & SCOM applications and tools


• Recent experience with Hyper-V (up to 2019 ideal, but 2016 ok)


• Hands on experience with Windows Server Datacenter (2019 is ideal, but 2016 is ok)


• Hands on with VMware ESXi Ver 6.x or similar.


• Strong experience working with top brands of blade servers including Dell, HP, etc.


• Direct experience working within larger environments with up to 200+ VMS.


• Able to assess instances and configuration of existing SCVMM and duplicate it in a new deployment


• Clear communication skills, leadership personality, self-starter, reliable, task oriented

Optional:

• Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter (MVMC) tool


• RHEV and KVM hypervisor administration and migration support.
