We are currently seeking a Physician Services Coordinator to join our corporate team in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The perfect candidate will have the ability to drive client engagement and rapport, have superb follow-up skills and possess a sharp phone presence as well as excellent listening skills. Ideal for someone with experience of practice management. This position is hybrid and offers the opportunity to work a schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote after completing a successful training period.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Contact new and existing clients to ensure support and scheduling needs are being addressed
  2. Contact recruitment team regarding new clients
  3. Contact new clients to schedule in-services
  4. Maintain consistent follow-up with new and existing clients
  5. Attend and document meeting minutes for operations meetings
  6. Maintain client demographic lists and licensure copies
  7. Work independently and proactively to meet business goals
  8. Assist corporate team with a variety of administrative tasks
  9. Attend and participate in corporate staff meetings
  10. Regularly report status of new client in-services to Billing Manager
  11. Assist with patient calls in absence of scheduling staff
  12. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a specialty practice setting preferred (Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine a plus)
  • 5+ years insurance, physician billing and coding experience preferred
  • 5+ years physician relations experience preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of medical office (physicians, practice managers, consultants, external vendors and peers)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to set and keep appointments
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Consistent follow through
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
