Title: Sr Network Engineer with exp in installing Cisco + Arista Data Center devices, Fiber, Ethernet, BGP, OSPF, static routing at Alpharetta GA 12+ months cont

Description:

Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite

Responsibilities:

• Perform deployment and operations of network infrastructure primarily related to new DMZ connectivity and expansion of existing infrastructure.

• Turning up new routers/switches, migrate DMZs, and new site to site VPN connections.

• Ability to integrate DMZ with the Data center infra, turn up IPSEC tunnels and help troubleshoot the network issues.

• Work along with multi-vendor environment. Preferably should have worked with firewall and understand inter-operability of firewall with network switches/Routers.

• Work with multi-VRF environment and able to troubleshoot complex issues with dynamic routing protocols.

• Maintain and upgrade network devices and perform software upgrade during scheduled weekend implementation window.

• Document network configuration changes, diagram update and able to follow/update knowledge web.

• Point of escalation for production outages related to day to day operations or any project driven initiatives.

Experience/Skills:

• Hands on knowledge and experience installing Cisco and Arista Data Center devices(link removed) (minimum five to seven years)

• Experience managing network configuration Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE & Arista EOS platform devices.

• Experience working with physical infrastructure such as Fiber, Ethernet, OOB, TAP, running cabling cut-sheet etc.

• Excellent knowledge with BGP, OSPF, static routing & route redistribution, spanning-tree, HSRP, port-channel.

• Knowledge with VRF, IPSec GRE, Ikev2 and MPLS would be plus.

• Must have a strong networking background and understanding. Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements(link removed)>

• Fortinet firewall and Wireshark analysis experience preferred.
