Position Description:
An HVAC Engineer is a member of our multi-disciplinary design team and will work along-side our engineering leadership. The Engineer will have opportunities to work on various types of renovation and new construction projects for commercial, multi-tenant residential and institutional building types, including health care, technology, utilities & education markets.
Essential Functions:
Drafting of HVAC construction drawings including details, plans & sections
HVAC load and energy calculations
Design of HVAC systems
Selection of HVAC equipment
Coordinating with other engineering and architectural trades during design
Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
Participate in developing details, equipment schedules and specifications
Research and assesses building performance and other regulations
Contribute to design discussions and carry design concept through to project drawings
Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
