Leonhardt Company Inc is seeking an HVAC Testing Technician for our growing team. The HVAC Testing Technician is responsible for conducting testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency and performance. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, ranging from large commercial buildings to institutional facilities. The HVAC Testing Technician will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with other members of the construction team.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems according to project specifications
• Analyze and evaluate HVAC system performance data to ensure system efficiency and performance
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and identify issues that may affect system performance
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project completion deadlines are met
• Generate and maintain detailed project reports related to HVAC system performance and testing results
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by adhering to company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working in HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC system design schematics and project specifications
• Proficient with data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects simultaneously
• Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
