Stryker Electric & Air is looking for individuals seeking a rewarding career as an HVAC Technician.
About the Job
As a HVAC Technician, you will be spending your workday installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing various heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems t hat control the temperature and air quality i n buildings and homes. You will be t raveling and working in various settings, both residential and commercial.
This position is Full Time and reports to our office located in Palm City, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Starting Pay Range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus annual bonus and employee benefits valued at up to $5 per hour Masks, gloves, and sanitizer are provided.
Responsibilities:
Locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment
Conducting maintenance checks
Performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items
Installing new equipment
Qualifications:
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Below gives you a sense of what we are looking f or, however, we are willing to train, so every applicant will be considered.
Experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
Have performed AC change-outs and installations
Skills:
Problem-Solving and Acute Troubleshooting Skills
Awareness for safety at all times
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces or high up
Soft Skills - professional, respectful, courtesy, customer service
Requirements:
Our only requirement is a clean and valid Driver License.
