We are looking for a HR Manager who will provide full cycle HR support to our rapidly growing teams in North America. This position is reporting to the head of HR based in NY and will manage and execute a broad range of HR initiatives including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, HR analytics, and payroll & benefits.







Responsibilities



Build and maintain credibility and strong relationships with employees at all level

Champion talent management in the organization to ensure improved attraction, retention and development of employees

Partner with people managers on a broad range of human resource policies, programs, and compliance and ensure our handbook and policies are compliant with current local and federal laws and regulation

Manage resolution of employee issues including sensitive or urgent employee relations matters

Drive effective implementation of the performance management processes to build a culture of effective coaching between managers and employees

Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition for designated teams

Create and support proactive employee engagement/ development programs that will increase retention and reduce turnover

Work cross-functionally to ensure organizational needs are being met

Manage employee data in HRIS and communicate any updates with relevant internal and external teams

Assist or manage payroll and benefits for designated teams

Additional responsibilities as assigned based on business requirements



Qualifications



Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Business Management, or related field

5+ years' experience in Human Resources Generalist role within retail, beauty, or hospitality industries

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and working through ambiguity

Experience supporting distributed teams across different geographies

Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment practices, laws and regulations

Proficient with MS office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and HRIS

Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to follow through

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated expertise training and coaching managers and employees

Good judgement and ability to exercise discretion

Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (10%)

Bilingual in Korean preferred but not required (a global mindset is a must)
