Our client, leading advisiory and accounting firm is looking to hire HR Analyst for it's office in Lancaster, York or Harrisburg, PA. The HR Analyst is responsible for maintaining, updating, designing and optimizing the firm's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). They ensure proper HRIS reporting capabilities and analyzing and optimizing the performance of our current HRIS systems, and making recommendation based of the performance audits. They will also have the opportunity to design new HRIS processes.
Position Title: HR Analyst
Report To: HR Manager

Responsibilities

  • Consult with HR Management Team, Service Line Leaders and other internal departments to determine HRIS needs
  • Update Workday HCM with supervisory organization, security access, cost center, location, and business process changes
  • Assist functional leads with launch and monitoring of Workday projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Partner with Talent Development and HR Manager to develop training and job aids
  • Monitor all regular updates to the HRIS and advise functional leads of changes that will or may impact their areas of responsibility
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of semi-annual upgrades to Workday to facilitate a smooth process while minimizing disruption to the current release
  • Submit cases through the Workday Customer Center to resolve any issues identified as well as closely monitor developments and best practices in the HRIS industry
  • Take initiative to understand and apply available resources and appropriate guidance and policies
  • Document processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports
  • Organize facts, analyze and interpret information according to circumstances
  • Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Analyst
  • Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train team members
  • Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics
  • Proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries
  • Proficiency in HRM software, such as Workday
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local offices as needed, overnight travel may be required
