  • Manage up to four HAUVs installed on an offshore vessel.
  • Report to Senior HAUV Engineer on the status of team, equipment, maintenance and progress
  • Report to Onshore Subsea Technical Manager, Operational management and relevant Technical support functions regarding the status of systems under your control
  • Contribute to Oms Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and maintain a Daily Report (DR) for each HAUV system onboard
  • Document the Maintenance, generate Requisitions and track Purchase Orders within the company Computerized Planned Maintenance System
  • Identify and propose system improvements to help improve productivity and EHSQ standards
  • When required be assigned to a shore base project team for project equipment preparation, testing and attending acceptance tests
  • Generate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Participate in HAZIDs, HAZOPS and generate TRAs when required
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate Mechanical and Electrical system risks and document
  • Work to ensure the highest level of availability of the HAUV systems during a project
  • Participate and when required lead, in the planning and the mobilization and demobilization of equipment onto offshore vessels.

Requirements

  • Offshore experienced with UUV, HAUV, AUV or other Electrical ROV/Submersible in an Engineer or equivalent role
  • Associates, Bachelors or Higher in Electrical, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or Electrical Systems Engineering
  • Capable to use AutoCAD, understands Electronic schematics and able to generate basic Mechanical or Electrical drawings when required
  • Experienced with Fiberoptics, Low (up to 690V) and High voltage (up to 3kV) systems
  • Strong organization skills to manage a team and equipment within an extremely fast-paced offshore environment.
  • Knowledge of the relevant physics for offshore operations, including Submersible vehicle hydrodynamics, buoyancy calculations, splash zone forces and corrosion control
  • Competent with Network protocols and Computer systems
  • High appreciation of the EHSQ aspects during Project planning and Offshore operations
  • English is mandatory, verbal and written (Excellent Level)
