Job Description

Develop diverse and authenticGujarati food menus in line with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
Create innovative andseasonal dishes while maintaining the essence of traditional Gujarati cuisine.
Acts with appropriate caution ina dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces. Selects choice ingredientsthat will give dishes the best flavour. Experiments to come up with new specialties that will draw diners intothe restaurant.
Coach other members of the kitchen staff, so they perform at their best.
Determines how muchfood to order and maintains an appropriate supply at the restaurant.
Keeps up with trends in cooking and therestaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience. Takes direction and works with therestaurant's administrative team.
Assisting chefs with prep work.
