Position Summary: The seasonal golf course marshal is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of play on the golf course by monitoring player behavior and pace of play, and assisting golfers as needed.

This is considered a seasonal, full time non-benefited position. The starting wage for this position is $15.00/hr.

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor the pace of play on the golf course and encourage groups to keep up with the recommended pace.
• Ensure golfers adhere to the course's rules and regulations, including dress code and golf cart usage.
• Assist golfers with any issues they may encounter on the course, such as lost balls or equipment malfunctions.
• Keep accurate records of course activity, including number of golfers and pace of play.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all golfers, responding promptly to any questions or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with other course staff to ensure course operations run smoothly.
• Keep the course clean and free of debris, including emptying trash cans and picking up litter.
• Assist with course maintenance tasks as needed, such as filling divots and repairing ball marks.

Requirements

Position Prerequisites:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience working on a golf course preferred..
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
