The General Manager manages the complete entity and has full P/L responsibility for the business within the Amphenol Radio Frequency, Optics and Broadband ( ARFOB ) group. This position has overall responsibility for the overarching strategy development and execution, the technology and sales roadmap, and financial results and leads all areas of the business including engineering, manufacturing and operations, sales and marketing, human resources, and finance. Provide overall direction for the business unit by analyzing business objectives and customer needs. Develop, communicate, and implement business strategies and plans. Lead the technology roadmap development in line with market growth. Analyze costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans. Determine and support resource requirements, fostering positive team engagement. Evaluate operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results. Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Develop and execute multiyear growth strategies and plans that match the market opportunities to deliver sustained growth and profitability. Establish world-class manufacturing operations, continued sales and channel development, and ongoing innovative product developments that will drive continued success. Commercial growth: assess economic factors, demographic trends, and competitive strategy; enhancing the RFS Technologies brand. Manage Financial performance: establish financial plans, budgets, and drives performance to achieve Orders, Sales, Cash and Profitability targets. Develop and lead a strong executive team: Lead highly qualified, motivated, and goal-oriented executives, bringing them together as a powerful team that achieves immediate and long-term business objectives. Provides leadership to inspire the organization to meet customer needs and maintain commitment and integrity to company values. Foster a positive, open company culture that ensures the business core values are maintained. Promote ethical practices, integrity, and a positive work climate to enable the business to attract, retain and motivate suitable team members. Interact and meets with key customers and distributors. Set an example for a customer-focused approach. Cultivate high-level relationships at key customers. Travel required 25% of the time.

40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm
Five (5) years of related experience in an occupation managing product development as a technical engineer or analyst.

Experience or knowledge must include:

5 (five) years (experience can be gained concurrently):
Leading complex engineering projects while maintaining budget and schedule adherence.
Conducting and applying engineering and statistical analyses.
Collaborating and mentoring sales and technical teams.
Project Management: CPI and SPI

4 (four) years (experience can be gained concurrently):
Performing computer and financial modelling, including account reporting skills.

2 (two) years (experience can be gained concurrently):
Knowledge of target markets, products, current and emerging technologies & capabilities.
Program Management: review engineering specifications, (NPI),
FEA (Final Element Analysis)
Large dataset management using computer programming: MS Access, MATLAB
Excel VBA Programming
Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a directly related field
