DirectClient: Austin Transportation DepartmentTitle: GIS AnalystLocation: Telework//Austin, TX Duration: 7 Months Contract Important Note: remote work flexible, however must be prepared and able to attend onsite meetings as required, minimum 2 per month, up to 2 days a week in office if needed; full time remote work for those outside of central Texas will be considered a case-by-case basis. Responsibilities:? Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs. Engages in complex GIS analysis and other datasets; reviews and manipulates records of spatial and tabular data.? Performs advanced programming and development of cross-platform, multi-function, interactive applications involving graphical interfaces for multiple end-users. This may include determining requirements, design, implementation, debugging, and deployment within GIS, network, and web-based environments.? Contributes to, evaluates, and leads projects by reviewing existing City data, recommending data needs, accessing available digital data from outside sources, and determines analyses to fulfill project provisions.? Analyzes GIS data requirements and configures digital data design, assembly, conversion, compilation, and maintenance procedures essential for long-term applications. Required:? Strong proficiency ArcGIS Online, ArcPRO? 3+ years in GIS? Create Web Applications/maps and print maps,? Enterprise database management experience,? Familiarity with database architecture.? Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic environment. Preferred:? Python experience,? FME (feature manipulation engine) experience? Technical asset management? Analytical experience? Business process/systems experience? Data integration between applications? knowledge of the Austin area.
