Cornerstone Learning Community (CLC) is seeking a full time ESE Teacher (Learning Specialist) for the 2023/2024 school year. CLC's mission is to inspire and empower compassionate, global learners. Responsibilities for the position of the ESE/Learning Specialist include: - Provide individual and small group academic tutoring under the supervision of the Student Services Director following research-validated techniques.
- Coordinate services and scheduling with classroom teachers and families.
- Document student progress and services provided (i.e. hours of service, goals addressed, progress notes, etc.).
- Assess, interpret, and present data to design and implement interventions.
- Coordinate, schedule, and prepare documentation for parent conferences for student caseload.
- Coordinate with and advise staff regarding instructional support needs to meet student learning profiles
- Plan and participate (as available) in lead teacher goal-setting meetings at beginning and end of the school year.
- Meet with teachers, parents, Support Services Team and the Director as needed to supplement written communication and to plan for school transitions or changes in service.

- A flexible and dynamic personality who can re-orient and respond to emerging dynamics in thoughtful and compassionate ways.
Requirements include: - A bachelors degree (or higher) in ESE, education-related field with preference for a math specialist.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in special education and preferably with demonstrable experience in collaboration, working with school leaders, and program development.
- A demonstrable passion for student support, universal design for learning, and mission focused education.
