We are looking for a Full-Time Program Aide to provide the best quality care to enrich the lives of our developmentally/intellectually disabled population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting each of our participants with meals, activities of daily living and hygienic care needs. You will need to be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. Shift Time:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities of the job include (but not limited to):

• Performing wheelchair transfers and re-positioning for intellectually disabled and medically frail adults


• Perform adult diaper changes


• Perform range of motion exercises under the supervision of licensed therapists


• Assist with feeding intellectually disabled and medically frail adults


• Perform recreational therapies/activities (art, music, activities of daily living instruction, etc.)


• Ability to use a Hoyer lift once trained onsite


• Written documentation of all services performed for the CBAS program participants

Required work experience:

• MUST have at least 6 months of general care-giving.

Skills required for the job:

• Able to read and write English for documentation in program participant flow sheets, communication books, etc.


• Perform ambulation with gait belts on ambulatory participants


• Perform wheelchair transfers, adult diaper changes and re-positioning for participants.


• Assist participants with oral feedings

Licenses/Certifications required for the job:

• Must have a current CPR and First Aid certifications prior to job start.
