KCH Transportation, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is currently looking for a Freight Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Freight Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all freight claims are handled in a timely and accurate manner. This includes investigating and gathering necessary information, coordinating with carriers and customers, and filing and documenting claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and gather necessary information for freight claims
• Coordinate with carriers and customers to resolve disputed claims
• Prepare and file freight claims with carriers and insurance companies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims and activities
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with all parties involved in the claims process
• Monitor and track claims to ensure resolution within established timelines
• Provide training and support to customers on the claims process and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
