The Finance Associate provides support to the Chief Financial Officer by bookkeeping, completing monthly financial reports, journal entries, and balancing bank statements. This role will also be responsible for weekly and monthly statistical reporting and analysis and will cover accounts payable and cash receipts.

This is a Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week position.

Responsibilities of the Finance Associate:

• Reports to the office at least two full days per week
• Completes all journal entries
• Balances general ledger accounts
• Reviews and balances bank statements
• Completes monthly financial reports
• Responsible for accounts payable, cash receipts and all company deposits
• Completes filing as needed
• Completes and analyzes weekly and monthly statistical reports
• Assists with preparation of annual budget
• Assists with annual agency audit
• Completes various licensing and reporting requirements
• Looks for areas of inefficiencies and suggests improvements
• Participates in front desk coverage rotation
• Demonstrates flexibility in role by accepting and performing other duties as required to meet the changing needs of the corporation and its programs
• Actively participates in team/staff meetings
• Participates in continuing education, as appropriate, to increase technical knowledge and skills
• Engage in respectful communication (both verbal and written) with team members, patients, family members, and the community
• Adheres to agency wide policies

Qualifications of the Finance Associate:

• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Proficient experience with Excel required
• Experience with accounting software preferred
