Job Duties:
-Budding trees
-Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
Clear fields of wood and stones
-DE leafing
-Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops
-Harvest seedlings
-Soil fertility programs
-Tie and secure plants
-Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
-Weeding
-Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborer's
-Develop work schedules and establish procedures
-Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
-Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
-Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
-Perform general farm duties
