Hybrid Position!
Intensive Family Support services (IFSS) is a state funded outreach program that helps support families in Ocean County who have a loved one with a serious persistent mental illness (SPMI). This family member living with SPMI must be 18 years of age or older. We provide ongoing support and education to families. IFSS assists family members in gaining knowledge regarding the mental health system, developing support networks, navigating community resources and general psychoeducation. Referrals come from psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric emergency screening services, NAMI, and more.
Position Title: Family Support Specialist II
Position Type: Per Diem; Up to 12 Hours Weekly

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 Hourly
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and education to family members
- Develop and implement service plan
- Provide referral information to families
- Distribute program satisfaction surveys
- Provide consultation and education to the community
- Provide liaison services to community organizations
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a Human Services Field
- Two year of related experience in the mental health field
