Human Supports of Idaho, a partner practice of Behavioral Health Solutions, is seeking energetic self-driven individuals that are passionate about assisting children and families living with mental health and/or substance use issues from our Boise or Caldwell offices. The objective for this position is to connect participants to community resources and assist in skill building within the participants environment of choice, while preventing transition to a higher level of care. Case Management and Community Based Rehabilitation (CBRS) are recovery based services intended to help participants gain access to greater behavioral, medical and/or social services when unable to do so independently.

Job Duties

  • Create a safe and trusting space in order to build rapport with participants and their designated supports.
  • Complete various assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with treatment providers and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written communication.
  • Adhere to HSI policies and procedures as well as the NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Effectively navigate Electronic Medical Record systems (Athena. Training will be provided in house).
  • Complete 10 CEUs annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a human services field.
  • Experience working with children/youth.
  • No more than 2 driving violations within the past 3 years.
  • No DUI or reckless driving within the last 5 years.
  • Pass a Health & Welfare Enhanced criminal history background check and Drug Test.
  • Employees must carry adequate insurance necessary to cover any injury to the participant in the event of an accident. This coverage must have minimum liability coverage of $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident.
  • Computer literate.
  • Positive, organized, self-driven attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Skills training in Motivational Interviewing techniques.
  • Computer literate and able to meet deadlines; familiarity with EMR systems.
  • Certified as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist (CPRP).
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
  • Spanish language fluency.
