Job Summary
TheRoad Homeisseekingahighlymotivatedindividualwhoiscommitted,compassionate, willing tobe challenged, and whowantstomake adifference inthe livesof others.The street outreach team providestrauma-informed, person-centeredoutreach services tounshelteredhomeless families through Salt Lake Valley and singles primarily in Midvale and South Salt Lake. Outreacheffortsarefocused onconnectingclients with supportive services with the goal of helpingthemtransition from unsheltered homelessness into housing. The Street Outreach Supervisor provides supervision and oversight to a team of Housing Focused Case Managers while holding a small caseload of their own. This passionate self-starter will support creative problem solving and provide leadership for program accountability to ensure service goals are met or exceeded.

Job Duties
- Supervise a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide weekly supervision sessions.
- Provide case consultation and informal mentoring.
- Encourage training and development opportunities.
- Support each team member to achieve key performance indicators each quarter and comply with program regulations.
- Ensure best practices are implemented and adhered to.
- Motivational Interviewing
- Hire, train, and orient new staff.
- Provide administrative oversight.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Manage/documenting intakes, referrals, and discharges with tracking.
- Oversee budget spenddown each month
- Oversee grant eligibility to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Keep an up to date by-name-list of families experiencing unsheltered homelessness
- Assign out teams caseloads while making sure there is a robust client tracking system
- Engage in weekly Community Triage Meeting to prioritize eligible clients for different programs and funding sources
- Keep a high level of communication between Outreach team and other TRH teams
- Proactively engage in problem solving and programmatic change.
- Be aware of process inefficiencies and engage in quality improvement.
- Special projects as assigned.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in Social Work or another related field.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with homeless or low-income populations.

- Excellent writing and documentation skills.
- Must be a self-starter and self-directed person.
- Strong belief in the Housing First and Trauma-Informed Care models
- Ability to work with community partners.
- Ability to accept direction from Supervisor.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong computer skills.
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable by our agency insurance carrier
- Ability to work from a Trauma-Informed Care framework.
- Familiarity with the Housing First philosophy.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse populations. Ability to contribute to the agencys commitment to enhancing awareness and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural heritages.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Physical and Equipment Requirements
- Ability to perform outreach in extreme weather conditions, including summer heat and winter snow; be willing and able to perform outreach on foot while wearing a backpack with supplies.
- Abilityto lift25 lbs.
- Theabilityto drive an agency vehicle.
