The Roofing & Siding Foreman will be responsible for building a roofing and siding division from the ground up. This team will be responsible for installing various siding and roofing materials including shingles, rubber roof, vinyl siding, fiber cement siding, metal siding, windows, exterior doors, decks, etc. As a foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the roofing and siding crew.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a roofing or siding foreman (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in both roofing and siding with a variety of materials
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Window installation experience
  • Building Envelope experience
  • Must have a good understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
  • Roofing versatility in commercial types and asphalt would be a major plus

Responsabilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of crew members
  • Ensure the safety of the crew and others around the job site
  • Responsible for quality work and daily production from crew
  • Track and report progress of assigned jobs, looking ahead and communicate future needs, obstacles, etc.
  • Communicate with the superintendent, manager, crew, and vendors
  • Research new roofing or siding systems or other systems as needed
  • Keep current with, and apply all safety and construction procedures, methods and standards to every building
  • Perform safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment
