RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop custom D365 application components based on user requirements when appropriate using .NET, X++ or other object-oriented programming language
- Create classes, table and form extensions, extend data types and base enumerations, add functionality to model elements and source code as needed to meet business requirements
- Provide technical and functional knowledge of development technologies, LCS and Azure Dev Ops
- Create business process automation opportunities using Power Automation and Power Apps
- Work with business unit and department leaders to Analyze business requirements
- Create, develop and design specifications including gap/fit analysis documentation
- Provide development task timeline estimates and high-level designs to define optimal solutions, custom vs. default functionality
- Author and present functional and technical design documents that translate business requirements into workable solutions
- Follow development best practices and software development life cycle processes
- Ensure that modifications, extensions and customizations are well documented
- Design, develop and execute data migration processes and integrations to external or existing systems
- Work with functional team to design, test, and implement customizations
- Other duties as assigned
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Power Automation, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
- Proficient with X++, C#, .Net
- Visual Studio and Azure Dev Ops
- SQL, Transact SQL, Stored procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions, SSRS
- Microsoft Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Certification is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer or Data Science
- Understanding of financial, supply chain and manufacturing operational process flows within Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Project management skills with a track record of applying program and change management principles, practices and techniques
- Knowledge and experience with the
- Effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities
- Experience with SSRS report development
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
