Job Duties: Serve as the technical leader for end-to-end software and data technology development on feature and function specifications for highly visible and key technology propositions, products, and services. Duties Include:

1) Define and drive vision, design, and feature sets for software & data products and services, and devise product roadmaps for the Group.
2) Drive the development and expansion of our portfolio of low latency feed handlers and market data capture, across a wide range of asset classes including Equities, Options, Futures, FX, Interest Rates, etc.
3) Drive innovation and differentiation across groups technology propositions, products, or services to address current and future client needs. Develop product strategy, design, business requirements, features and functionality tradeoffs for strategic initiatives.
4) Identify build vs. buy opportunities for propositions, products, or services, and leverage the organization to execute as needed.
5) Demonstrate expertise on software & data products and industry trends for the asset classes and markets supported in APAC, EMEA and AMER.
6) Develop innovative concepts, services, technologies and products to address current and future customer requirements.
7) Look for synergies across Business Units or functions and recommend process, product and service improvements.
(May telecommute from any home office in the US.)
3 years of experience in a software development-related occupation. Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
1) 3 years of experience performing software development in the capital markets technology domain.
2) 3 years of experience working with market data delivery methods, as well as data access methodologies, and APIs.
3) 3 years of experience performing software or data engineering using C++ and Python.
4) 3 years of experience designing systems for data processing, data modelling or APIs
5) 2 years of experience discussing technical concepts and evaluating trade-offs in design with Engineering and end-user clients.
6) 2 years of experience working on cross-functional teams, including with Sales & Strategy, Business and Marketing teams.
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
