Mercer Investments LLC is seeking candidates for the following position based in the New York, NY office (Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the work site):

Director, Intermediary Relations



We will count on you to:

Responsible for engaging with Third Party Evaluators (TPEs) through a coordinated and dedicated approach, to both retain clients as well as grow the business. Ensure Mercer is on the buy list/approved provider list of top TPEs. Support client retention efforts where there is TPE oversight. Improve tracking of TPEs involvement across opportunities through use of the firms client relationship software system. Provide insight into competitive landscape and market developments as well as recommendations to ensure Mercer remains a leading provider. Keep TPEs up-to-date with Mercers capabilities and service offerings, including regular schedule of research meetings, ensuring wider Mercer team (strategy, portfolio management, risk, operations, ESG, client team, etc.) are correctly represented at research meetings. Engage with TPEs across their team structures. Ensure consistent information flow to all TPEs for both prospective clients as well as existing clients. Provide connectivity between TPEs and subject matter experts and leaders within Mercer. Interface with wider Mercer on TPE engagement. Coordinate with other Mercer geographies to ensure best practice in TPE communication and approach. Develop Mercer brand with TPEs through relevant industry conferences. Contribute insights to industry thought pieces for clients and prospects.


What you need to have:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in any field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, or as a Strategy & Operations Principal, Chief of Staff, Investor Relations Director, Investor Relations Senior Account Manager, or a related position. Employer will accept a 3-year foreign Bachelor's degree in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. Must have seven (7) years of experience with all of the following: Working or consulting in the investment/financial services field and communicating investment concepts to a business/corporate audience; Designing and customizing value propositions for investment opportunities for clients in the investments and retirements business; Developing and executing on digital and email marketing campaigns; Creating and reviewing data and reporting using SalesForce customer relationship management software; Fostering and managing complex B2B relationships and partnerships; Senior stakeholder management, including leading interactions and meetings with C-suite participants; Delivering on annual sales objectives and key performance indicators. Travel reqt: 20% predominantly domestic travel is anticipated to various and unanticipated company and client sites.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $237,600 per year. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
